In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical sales of advanced test and measurement solutions across diverse industrial sectors, including aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial automation, and power measurement. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, combining engineering understanding with commercial acumen to position complex hardware and software solutions effectively. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that requires proactive engagement, relationship building, and the ability to translate technical requirements into tailored solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle within your territory, from prospecting and opportunity development to solution presentation and closing. The role offers strong exposure to cutting-edge data acquisition systems, sensors, and measurement technologies used in high-performance engineering environments. You will collaborate closely with internal technical and support teams while working in a dynamic, international organization that values autonomy and accountability.
Accountabilities:
- Drive direct sales activities across a defined territory, promoting advanced test and measurement solutions including data acquisition systems, sensors, and related technologies.
- Identify new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers across multiple industries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including engineering, procurement, and senior management.
- Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to generate and develop sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal technical, support, and service teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote solutions and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity tracking using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Continuously develop product and industry knowledge to effectively position solutions against competitors.
- Provide regular market feedback and territory insights to sales leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to support customer engagement and deal closure.
Requirements:
- Experience in technical sales, field sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of test and measurement technologies, sensors, or industrial engineering solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven customer solutions.
- Proven track record of managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across technical and business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role with travel requirements.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, or related technical field preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to ~40% depending on territory needs.
