Job Description - Field System Service Engineer

We are looking for a technically skilled Field System Service Engineer to provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for IT infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at customer locations and resolving hardware, networking, and system-related issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and infrastructure systems
Provide on-site technical support at customer locations
Troubleshoot desktops, servers, network devices, printers, and peripherals
Install and configure operating systems, software, and applications
Diagnose and resolve hardware and networking issues
Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks
Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and routers
Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams for escalated issues
Maintain service reports, installation records, and customer documentation
Respond to customer service calls and ensure timely issue resolution
Support AMC / service contracts and maintain customer relationships
Travel to client sites as required

â TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP – Basic Knowledge

â CCTV / Firewall / Backup – Added Advantage

â IT Infrastructure Support

â Customer Service & Technical Communication

â Strong Problem-Solving Skills
