Finance Role â Chennai
Driving financial discipline that powers business growth
Location: Chennai, India
Experience: CA with 1â2 years post\-qualification experience or CA Inter with 4â5 years of experience
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for owning core finance operations, while also being an expert in financial analysis. You will work closely with business teams, auditors, and advisors to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely compliance, while gradually becoming fully hands\-on and independent across all finance areas.

Month\-End Close & Reporting â Drive monthly accounts closure in SAP and prepare MIS including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, variance analysis, and management commentaries.
Audit Management â Coordinate with statutory auditors, maintain audit schedules, and close audit points with clear ownership and timelines.
Tax & India Compliance â Handle Income Tax compliances including Transfer Pricing coordination, TDS returns, GST filings, and support tax representations & filings with authorities.
Regulatory & Legal Filings â Oversee ROC and other statutory filings, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
Operational Finance & Cash Flow â Run weekly cash\-flow forecasts under multiple scenarios and monitor liquidity and working capital.
Financial Modelling & Business Support â Maintain and enhance a 3\-statement financial models, scenario/sensitivity analysis; partner with business teams to translate initiatives into financial impact.
Systems & Process Excellence â Leverage SAP for accurate postings and controls; suggest process improvements and SOPs to improve speed, quality, and governance.
Fundraisingâ Assisting the Finance Head in various fund raise initiatives.
The person you are
CA with 1â2 years post\-qualification experience or CA Inter with 4â5 years of relevant experience.
Strong hands\-on experience working with SAP, Tally.
Proven exposure to monthly close, audit, tax compliance (Income Tax, GST), and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills with comfort in financial modelling and reconciliations.
Clear and confident communicatorâable to write crisp notes and explain positions to auditors, advisors, and stakeholders.
Business\-oriented mindset with the ability to connect numbers to real business drivers and suggest practical solutions.
Based in Chennai, with flexibility to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
