As a Finance Accounting Hub, GL FAW - Senior Associate - Operate, you will specialize in using and managing Oracle Financials software to optimize operational efficiency for our clients. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality work. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system. You will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, while contributing to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing client needs to implement and configure Oracle Financials software solutions
- Managing the integration and maintenance of Oracle Finance systems to optimize operational efficiency
- Providing training and support to clients for seamless utilization of business applications
- Collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for finance process improvements and transformation
- Utilizing analytical thinking to monitor and analyze financial trends and provide insights
- Developing financial reports and presenting findings to stakeholders for informed decision-making
- Confirming compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supporting financial budgeting and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives
- Leveraging Oracle General Ledger and other financial management tools to enhance financial operations
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to drive client success and satisfaction
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or related Oracle ERP Finance Cloud modules
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Financials and Oracle General Ledger
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance financial reporting processes
- Excelling in financial statement analysis and financial forecasting
- Managing financial risk through comprehensive financial risk management strategies
- Developing innovative solutions for finance transformation initiatives
