Role: Finance & Accounting Associate  
Location: Bengaluru (Old Airport Road, Murugeshpalya) 
Reports to: Senior Leaderhip  

Work Days: Mon to Fri (11-8 pm) , 2nd and 4th Sat off ( Role is full time work from office)

Notice period - Immediate joiners or max 15 days notice allowed (candidates with longer notice periods will not be accepted).

Company is into building and marketing an AI wearable that captures conversations and turns them into structured notes and action items. Backed by renowned Ventures Funds and angel investors, they are a fast-growing B2C hardware startup scaling on Amazon and D2C channels 
Role Overview: 
We're looking for an Finance & Accounting Associate  to own day-to-day bookkeeping, statutory compliance, and tax filings for a fast-moving hardware/D2C business. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role suited to someone who thrives in a startup environment with limited hand-holding. 
Key Responsibilities: 
● Maintain accurate books of accounts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) across multiple bank accounts and payment channels. 
● Manage GST filings, TDS compliance, and other statutory tax obligations, including 
reverse-charge and OIDAR requirements for foreign vendor invoices. 
● Support statutory audit engagements by coordinating with auditors, preparing schedules, and resolving queries. 
● Handle RBI/FEMA-related compliance for import transactions, vendor advances, and outward remittances, including Bill of Entry reconciliation and ICEGATE filings. 
● Prepare monthly MIS and burn reports for leadership and investors. 
● Reconcile Amazon and D2C channel payouts, returns, and fees against accounting records. 
● Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and basic treasury operations, including NACH mandates and corporate card reconciliation. 
● Ensure timely compliance with ROC filings, employment-related statutory dues (PF/ESI/PT), and other regulatory requirements. 
● Assist with due diligence documentation for fundraising and debt financing. 
Requirements: 
● 2+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or compliance roles; candidates with 2–3 years of experience are welcome to apply. 
● Prior experience at a B2C startup is a must you understand the pace, ambiguity, and 
cross-functional nature of startup finance. 
● Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic FEMA/RBI compliance. 
● Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for reconciliations and reporting. 
● CA-Inter, semi-qualified, qualified CA, or an equivalent finance/accounting background. 
● High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
