Finance and Cost Analyst

Role & Responsibilities

• Project Evaluation, Investment Evaluations using DCF methodology, corporate finance, management accounting


• Very good at data handling in Excel


• Automotive Background


• Build and maintain granular cost models across products, departments.


• Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Product to design spend controls, budget guardrails, and ROI frameworks


• Automate financial dashboards using Excel Power Pivot, SQL, or Looker to enable real-time cost visibility


• Lead monthly cost variance analysis, root cause deep dives, and recommend corrective actions to leadership


• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles with scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and KPI tracking

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Excel (Power Pivot, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)


• Cost accounting principles


• Financial modeling
