Job Description - Finance Associate

Overview

CRA is seeking a Finance Associate to support financial operations, reporting, and ERP -driven process improvements across the organization.

This role is ideal for a young, dynamic finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and ERP exposure who can help strengthen financial processes, ensure compliance, and contribute to data -driven decision -making within a fast -growing and structured business environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail -oriented Finance Associate to support accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and ERP -based financial processes.

The role will work closely with cross -functional teams, leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day -to -day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger management.
Support month -end and year -end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
Monitor General Ledger balances and identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and internal financial controls.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance activities.
Work extensively on ERP systems to ensure financial data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Support process improvement initiatives, automation efforts, and ERP optimization.
Provide financial insights and analytical support to management for decision -making.
Maintain proper financial documentation, records, and compliance filings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter candidates preferred.
2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (Tally, SAP, ERPNext or similar platforms preferred).
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, taxation, compliance, and audits.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, financial analysis).
Strong analytical thinking and problem -solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
High level of attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
