Finance Controller | CA | D2C Startup

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and collections.
• Prepare and publish accurate monthly financial statements and MIS reports on time.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts; monitor performance and report variances.
• Oversee company investments, cash flow management, and optimize free cash reserves.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings.
• Prepare and file GST returns, manage TDS reconciliations, and maintain vendor account reconciliations.
• Administer ESOP programs, including share allocations, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead financial audits, ensuring timely closure of books and statutory reports.
• Manage legal and secretarial aspects related to finance operations.
• Leverage ERP tools such as Tally to streamline and automate accounting processes.
• Track and analyze financial performance of D2C and marketplace operations, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
