We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Manager with a strong background in GST compliance, audits, TDS, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in managing core finance operations, statutory compliance, and financial analysis, especially in fast-paced, growth-stage companies or startups.
This role requires deep expertise in GST filing and audit, TDS compliance, and an understanding of critical financial metrics such as EBITDA, CM1, CM2 margins, PAT, and CAC. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities including vendor negotiations, financial planning, tax compliance, and audit readiness.
The Finance Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Legal, Procurement, and Leadership to ensure smooth financial governance and decision-making support.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxation & Compliance
Manage monthly and annual GST filings, ensuring timely submission and accuracy in returns.
Lead GST audits and resolve any discrepancies with government authorities.
Oversee TDS deductions, filings, and reconciliation of tax payments across vendors and contractors.
Ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and analyze financial statements with key metrics such as EBITDA, PAT, CM1, CM2 margins, and other business KPIs.
Drive financial insights and provide timely reports to management on cash flow, profitability, cost control, and variance analysis.
Monitor customer acquisition cost (CAC) and provide insights to marketing and leadership on its impact on overall financial health.
Audit & Controls
Coordinate statutory, internal, and GST audits; prepare audit schedules and resolve queries with auditors.
Implement and monitor internal financial controls and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Establish best practices to prevent financial risks or non-compliance.
Vendor & Procurement Finance
Collaborate with procurement and operations teams for vendor negotiations, pricing validation, and payment terms.
Maintain strong relationships with key vendors, ensuring timely payments and cost efficiency.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
Strategic Financial Support
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Help leadership make data-driven decisions by presenting financial models and scenario analysis.
Track department-wise spends and implement cost-optimization initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or tax compliance roles
Proven expertise in GST, TDS, financial reporting, and audit
Sound knowledge of CM1, CM2 margins, EBITDA, and PAT
Experience with vendor negotiations and financial governance in fast-moving environments
