About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to support our growing global finance organization. Based in Pune, you will work closely with the US finance leadership team, taking ownership of month-end close activities, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and audit support. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accounting accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strong financial controls while helping scale finance operations in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and management reports for US leadership.

• Support ASC 606 revenue recognition, contract accounting, and deferred revenue schedules.

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and documentation for audits and financial reporting.

• Analyze financial performance, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and governance requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations and Customer Success for reporting and process improvements.

• Drive process automation, standardization, and operational efficiencies across finance workflows.

• Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and audit activities.

What You’ll Bring

Must Have

• CA, CPA, or CA Inter with strong relevant experience.

• 4–7+ years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or controllership functions.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.

• Experience managing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite, Zoho, or similar ERP platforms.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.

• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Big 4 or large audit firm experience, particularly US GAAP or GCC engagements.

• Experience in SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business models.

• Exposure to SOX controls, internal audits, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience working with multinational organizations and distributed finance teams.

• Knowledge of financial planning, consolidations, or controllership processes.

• Experience driving automation and process improvement initiatives.
