GSSO Finance team is responsible to Global support, develop and deliver IT solutions , upgrade improvement and partnership with SAP in key project implementation like S/4 HANA. This team supports all the SAP Finance applications like GL, AR, AP , FSCM - Dispute, collection & collection management , cash application tool e.g Readsoft , Treasury and Credit to Cash, profitability analysis Taxation, product costing , BW Planning tools, Invoice Verifications through OpenText . This team is also responsible to support other portal based application like BPC,Taulia ,Tungsten( e-Invoicing), also paper invoice process through ICC/BCC. This team is also responsible for engaging with key business stakeholders,Issue resolution with zero defects, collaborate with Global development team and ensure the global solutions are deployed successfully.

Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting in evaluating, designing and implementing SAP solutions in the Source to pay and payment to vendor, Travel expenses and reporting for Colgate subsidiaries. Essential Job Functions

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Good understanding of General accounting principles


• Business process knowledge of Accounts Payable, payment functions, Bank interface and reports.


• Providing robust IT solution to business within support SLA


• Collaborate within application teams and other GIT partners


• Building and maintaining systems for financial reporting and audit compliance.


• Complete documentation as per 5 step methodology.

Applied Knowledge and skills

• Having experience in vendor invoice processing and payments


• Business process knowledge of Finance ‘Procure to Pay’ cycle.


• SAP knowledge in Accounts Payable & clearing and Vendor account settlement process Sub function FICO-P2P Team Size - People manager or not? No Travel requirements (%)


• SAP knowledge in Master data ,General Ledger accounting, Vendor Master data maintenance


• Advance knowledge in SAP Integration with other module e.g. SD & MM module

Distinguishing characteristics

• Knowledge in ABAP debugging would be an added advantage


• Basic knowledge in OpenText,e-Invoice & BAM payment process will be added advantage

Key Accountabilities:

The GSSO Finance Business Analyst position is responsible to support production issues faced by business users globally in S2P –Source to pay, Vendor Payment, Intercompany process & FI-MM/SD integration knowledge. Get Familiar with other relevant Finance application areas

• Minimum years of work experience preferred: 4-6 years


• Minimum degree requirements: Any Bachelor’s Degree(Commerce graduates preferred),any post graduate, CA(Intermediate), ICWA/CMA(Intermediate)


• Other work requirements: Shift hours, On call


• Licenses and certifications - SAP certification will be an advantage
