ROLE SUMMARY :

Team Leader to supervise the Accounts Assistants. Guide and support the team on achieving their deliverables. Support the Head of financial Accounting in ensuring accurate and robust accounting is completed.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Completion of full and accurate selected balance sheet reconciliations each month 


• Preparation of year-end audit files


• Reconciliation of invoice discounting function and completion and submission of month end reports to the bank


• To complete month end tasks as specified by the Head of Financial Accounting


• Aged Creditors review and journal posting


• To produce and provide the WIP reports to the bank


• Bank payment uploads


• Balance sheet reconciliations


• P&L reviews


• Review Accounts Assistants tasks


• Support our colleagues in the credit control team with journals and queries.


• Support and conduct Management Accounting tasks.


• To suggest and implement on-going process improvements


• Assist in the training of colleagues in the Accounts team


• Assist with ad hoc analysis reports


• To cover the Accounts Assistants daily tasks when there are absences and annual leave.


• Support and produce ad-hoc requests as requested by the Head of financial Accounting

OUTCOMES:

• Deliver to timescales at month end including the support of colleagues to ensure we deliver successfully as a team


• Deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors in commerce required (Masters would be preferred)


• 6-7 Years in Accounts Payable/Finance Role with progression

Shift - UK Shift (1:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

Transport - home pick up & drop (Up to 20 KMs)
