Financial Analyst

Summary: Responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and supporting decision-making to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis.
  
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
  
• Analyze P&L, balance sheet, cash flow trends and key performance indicators.
  
• Support month-end close, account reconciliations, and cost-control initiatives.
  
• Provide actionable insights to business partners and senior management.
  
• Assist with financial planning & budgeting process and long-range strategic plans.
  
• Evaluate capital expenditures, ROI and project financials.
  
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; support audits.
  
• Run Financial Model for various capex projects and acquisition proposals
  
• Peers and Industry analysis
  
• Support CFO for various initiatives and for decision making with sharp analysis
  

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA/CA/ACCA or MBA preferred.
  
• 3–5 years’ experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
  

Skills & competencies:

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting and Excel skills (incl. pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH).
  
• Experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) a plus.
  
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Advanced presentation skills
  
• AI skills and use of AI tools

• Industry-specific experience, SQL, Python/R for data analysis, advanced presentation skills.
