Financial Analyst – Accounts & Costing

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support costing, departmental P&L analysis, MIS reporting, and financial operations. This role ensures financial accuracy, drives data-backed insights, and strengthens decision-making across teams.

Key Responsibilities

•  Prepare departmental P&L statements, costing sheets, and variance analysis.

•  Build and maintain financial dashboards (costing, KPIs, revenue/margins).

•  Prepare monthly MIS reports with clear insights.

•  Support month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations.

•  Track cash flow, vendor payments, expenses, and outstanding receivables.

•  Maintain accuracy of ERP financial data, ledgers, and documentation.

•  Organise data for GST/TDS filings, audits, and compliance.

•  Work with internal teams to gather financial inputs and resolve queries.

•  Identify cost optimisation opportunities and contribute to financial planning.

Must-Have Skills

•  Strong understanding of costing, P&L, and financial metrics.

•  Hands-on experience with MIS dashboards and Excel/Google Sheets.

•  Working knowledge of Tally/ERP/Zoho Books.

•  Good numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

•  Ability to simplify financial data for non-finance stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

•  Exposure to SaaS/ERP/Tech financial operations.

•  Knowledge of GST/TDS workflows.

•  Experience in budgeting/forecasting or business finance.

Qualifications

 B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance

CFA Level 1/2 preferred (not mandatory)
