We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fixed Deposit (FD) Specialist to join our dynamic investment product team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sourcing and managing Fixed Deposit business—both corporate and retail—across banking and NBFC environments. This role requires deep domain expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and a strategic understanding of the competitive landscape in the FD space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sourcing:
    Independently source new business for Fixed Deposit (FD) products across banks and NBFCs. Engage directly with customers and channel partners to promote investment options.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Maintain in-depth knowledge of current FD offerings across banks and corporates. Continuously track competitor products, rates, and positioning strategies to ensure a competitive advantage.
  • Client Advisory & Relationship Management:
    Understand client requirements and offer tailored FD solutions based on risk appetite and investment goals. Build strong, long-term relationships with HNIs, corporates, and institutional clients.
  • Partner Management:
    Build and nurture a robust network of FD partners and agents to drive channel business. Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient servicing of client needs.
  • Product Awareness & Training:
    Stay abreast of evolving trends in the Fixed Deposit and investment market, including regulatory updates, interest rate movements, and policy changes. Educate internal teams and clients accordingly.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure all investment transactions are executed in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. Maintain accurate and complete documentation for audits and internal review.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    Provide weekly/monthly performance updates to leadership, highlighting key metrics such as sourced value, new accounts, renewal rates, and interest rate benchmarks. Analyze customer behavior and suggest improvements in product offerings or marketing approach.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications in finance will be an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Fixed Deposit vertical within BFSI, NBFC, or banking sector.
  • Product Expertise:
    Strong understanding of Bank FDs, Corporate FDs, and associated investment instruments.
  • Market Insight:
    Keen awareness of market dynamics affecting FD rates and investor behavior.
  • Relationship Skills:
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Technical Acumen:
    Proficient in using CRM systems, Excel, and investment management platforms.
  • Self-Driven & Analytical:
    Demonstrated ability to work independently with a result-oriented mindset. Capable of analyzing market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
