Founder Principal

The Founder Principal at Edify Education is a leadership role poised to shape the school's culture, performance, and reputation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in education, with at least five years serving in a principalship capacity. The role will require a dynamic and innovative leader who is ready to drive our institution towards excellent academic outcomes and enriched student experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate, and implement a strategic vision and mission for the school that aligns with Edify Education's broader objectives and commitments.
• Lead the academic and administrative teams effectively, encouraging collaboration, professionalism, and innovation in teaching approaches and learning assessments.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment that appreciates diversity, encourages creativity, and supports students' social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Evaluate teacher performance and mentor them for professional growth.
• Build strong relationships with parents and various stakeholders, promoting the school's values and vision and inspiring their faith in our education.
• Ensure adherence to education regulations and guidelines, proactively addressing any compliance issues.
• Assess the school's performance metrics, continually striving to improve academic results, extracurricular participation, staff performance, and overall school culture.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience within the field of education.
• At least 5 years of successful experience in a Principal role, demonstrating a deep understanding and effective implementation of school administration responsibilities and duties.
• An earned doctorate or master's degree in educational leadership, education administration, or a similar field.
• Superior leadership qualities, displaying judgement, decision-making skills, and the ability to motivate and influence teams.
• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, faculty, education board officials, and the community.
• Track record of improving academic outcomes and raising standards within an educational institution.
• Deep understanding and passion for creating inclusive, stimulating learning environments.
