We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and highly articulate professional to work closely with senior leadership in a Founders Office–style role within a social entrepreneurship vertical focused on gender, climate, and inclusive economic development.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution. You will help shape how ideas are conceptualised, packaged, and communicated — internally and externally — through proposals, concept notes, presentations, and strategic documents. Youll be a thought partner to leadership, translating complex ideas, data, and programme insights into compelling narratives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys thinking deeply, writing clearly, and working close to decision-making, in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the vertical lead and senior leadership to support strategic planning and priority initiatives
Lead the drafting of high-quality proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, and donor submissions
Coordinate inputs from programme, finance, and partnerships teams to produce cohesive, compelling documents
Support resource mobilisation efforts by developing clear value propositions and narratives
Translate programme ideas, impact data, and research into clear, persuasive written content
Create strong presentations and decks for donors, partners, internal reviews, and leadership discussions
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and strategic positioning across documents
Analyse program data, donor requirements, and market information to inform strategy and proposals
Synthesise large volumes of information into crisp insights and recommendations
Support preparation of briefs, summaries, and dashboards for leadership review
Work cross-functionally with programme teams, MEL, finance, and external partners
Track timelines, deliverables, and submission schedules related to proposals and strategic initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
4–9 years of relevant experience in strategy, programme management, founders' office, partnerships, or resource mobilisation
Experience working in development, social impact, consulting, or entrepreneurship ecosystems
Prior exposure to proposal writing, concept note development, or donor-facing documentation is essential
Exceptional written communication skills — clarity, structure, and storytelling matter a lot
Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data, insights, and research
Ability to create clear, compelling presentations and decks
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
Ability to think strategically while staying grounded in execution
