Founding Engineer

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer, a builder, thinker, and creator who will be a co-architect of Reveriext’s journey.

This role goes beyond coding. It’s about turning bold ideas into prototypes, defining the company’s technical and cultural DNA, and shaping the foundation of the Software 3.0 era.

As a Reveur, you will:

• Work directly with the founder to design, build, and iterate prototypes across multiple product ideas.
  

• Make key architectural and technical decisions that define the long-term direction.
  

• Build across the stack: front-end, back-end, APIs, infrastructure, and AI integrations.
  

• Drive fast experimentation, scrappy prototyping, and outcome-focused delivery.
  

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and evaluate their real-world potential.
  

• Define early engineering standards, DevOps practices, and deployment strategies.
  

• Build and maintain healthy relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring clarity and outcomes.
  

• Mentor early contributors and help shape a culture of learning, growth, and excellence.
  

Requirements

You might call yourself an engineer, but you think like a Reveur – a dreamer who turns imagination into tangible impact.

You likely have:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in software engineering or systems architecture.
  

• Strong foundations in computer science, distributed systems, and scalable design patterns.
  

• Proven experience in product-focused environments, influencing architecture and direction.
  

• Expertise in full-stack development across modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue), backend systems (Node.js, Python, Go, Java), and microservice architectures.
  

• Familiarity with data engineering, event-driven systems, and real-time architectures.
  

• Experience with AI-native tools, LLM APIs, or vector database integrations (OpenAI, LangChain, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  

• Cloud-agnostic experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) with knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
  

• Understanding of modern MLOps and DevOps practices including CI/CD, IaC (Terraform), and observability (Grafana, Prometheus).
  

• Familiarity with modern databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and streaming systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
  

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming stack and curiosity to learn emerging technologies.
  

• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and constant learning.
  

• A mindset of unlearning old models and embracing Software 3.0 principles of human-AI collaboration.
  

• Empathy, passion, and strong communication skills for engaging with customers, partners, and external audiences.
  

• The desire to be hands-on while growing into a leadership role, mentoring people and scaling teams effectively.
