FPGA Design Manager to oversee our FPGA development team in creating robust, efficient, and scalable digital systems. The preferred candidate will possess extensive knowledge in FPGA architecture, RTL design, and verification, complemented by strong leadership and project management abilities.
Your Responsibilities
Lead a team of FPGA engineers in the design, development, and verification of FPGA-based systems.
Establish architecture and design requirements for FPGA solutions in accordance with system specifications.
Manage RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), synthesis, timing closure, and simulation processes.
Work collaboratively with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure smooth integration.
Promote design reviews, uphold code quality standards, and implement best practices within the team.
Oversee project timelines, resource distribution, and deliverables to achieve project milestones.
Engage with vendors and partners to procure FPGA tools, intellectual property, and technical support.
Remain updated on FPGA technologies, tools, and industry developments to inform strategic choices.
Assist in the testing, debugging, and validation of FPGA designs within laboratory environments.

Who You Are:
Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant field.
Have more than 15 years of experience in FPGA design and development, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or technical leadership position.
Exhibit strong expertise in VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.
Have practical experience with FPGA platforms such as Xilinx, Intel (Altera), Lattice, or Microsemi.
Be familiar with software tools like Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, Synplify, etc.
Possess a solid grasp of digital design principles, signal processing, data processing, timing analysis, and hardware debugging.
Have experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet), embedded processors (MicroBlaze, Nios), and IP integration.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in sectors such as telecommunications, aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation.
Knowledge of embedded C/C++ programming for FPGA-based systems.
Exposure to formal verification and simulation techniques.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with FPGA security and reliability features.
