We are seeking a skilled, proactive Freelance Broadcast IT Engineer (Shift Engineer) to support 24/7 broadcast, streaming, and digital media operations. The role involves managing the end -to -end technical workflow across TV broadcast, website, and social media platforms ensuring seamless content delivery and zero downtime.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Broadcast IT systems, digital streaming workflows, AI -enabled media tools, and real -time troubleshooting in high -pressure live environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage broadcast playout systems to ensure uninterrupted transmission and accurate playlist execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve on -air and streaming issues in real time to maintain zero -disruption operations
- Manage live streaming across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, website, and Partner’s platforms
- Configure and monitor streaming workflows including encoders, RTMP/HLS/SRT pipelines, and CDN delivery (If required)
- Support website streaming integration, video players, and content publishing workflows
- Coordinate with editorial and digital teams for live content publishing, breaking news, and multi -platform distribution
- Provide technical support for NRCS systems like Nxt Edition, ensuring seamless newsroom operations
- Ensure integration between NRCS, playout automation, graphics systems, and streaming workflows
- Support HTML -based graphics templates, rendering, and real -time graphics output
- Technical Support digital analytics tools for streaming performance, audience engagement, and platform health
- Act as first -level incident responder for broadcast, streaming, website, and digital platform issues
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain logs for incidents, downtime, performance reports, and system audits
- Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and routine health checks of broadcast and IT infrastructure
- Support deployment and commissioning of new broadcast, streaming, and digital technologies
- Work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends to support 16x7 operations.
