Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled React.js and Next.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development with a deep understanding of JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js frameworks. You will be responsible for building and optimizing user interfaces, ensuring high performance across different platforms and devices. Your work will directly impact the user experience, making our web applications more responsive, efficient, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front-End Development:

   • Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js.
   • Implement user interface components that are highly responsive and efficient.
   • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented effectively.

2. Next.js Specific Responsibilities:

   • Utilize Next.js features such as server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) to optimize performance.
   • Handle routing, API integration, and data fetching within Next.js projects.
   • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

3. Component Development:

   • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
   • Ensure the codebase is modular, maintainable, and scalable.
   • Implement clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

4. Performance Optimization:

   • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications.
   • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
   • Implement lazy loading, code splitting, and other techniques to improve load times.

5. API Integration:

   • Work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to fetch data and handle client-server interactions.
   • Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components.

6. Testing and Debugging:

   • Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs.
   • Use testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress to ensure high-quality code.
   • Debug and resolve technical issues reported by users or detected during development.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.
   • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
   • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

8. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
   • Contribute to the improvement of the development process, tools, and technologies used within the team.
   • Experiment with new features and technologies to enhance the user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a React.js Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of front-end development best practices, including SEO optimization and accessibility.
• Familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, TypeScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of server-side rendering and static site generation principles.
