Job Description - Front Desk Representative Transport Operations

Role Overview

The Front Desk Representative will act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding all transport-related matters. The role requires strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills along with the ability to manage digital tools and ERP systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents on transport-related queries, concerns, and requests.

  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between the transport team, accounts department, and parents to ensure smooth operations.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on transport operations, issues, and resolutions in the ERP and other designated systems.

  • Monitor and manage transport logistics software to ensure real-time updates and systematic concern management.

  • Provide professional assistance at the front desk, addressing walk-in queries from parents and visitors.

  • Prepare structured reports on transport operations, escalations, and resolutions for management review.

  • Support administrative tasks related to parent/student data management and communication.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • Tech Savvy: Prior experience with corporate digital tools, ERP systems, and transport logistics software.

  • MS Office & Google Suite Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.

  • Languages: Proficient in English, Kannada, and Hindi 

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle parent interactions with empathy and professionalism.

  • Previous experience in a front desk, customer service, or transport coordination role in an educational or corporate environment.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
