Job Description - Front end developer(Web development)

About Boson Motors:

Boson Motors is a Silicon Valley based startup focusing on farm automation. We are working on solving farming/agriculture automation challenges with our electric vehicles and computer vision.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Front-End Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of experience in front-end development, a strong understanding of UI/UX principles, and expertise in modern web technologies. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to build and enhance web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

â Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications.

â Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement interactive and user friendly UI components.

â Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for performance.

â Work with RESTful APIs to integrate front-end applications with backend services.

â Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.

â Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance.

â Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Skills and Experience

- 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end development.

- Should be Creative and can develop sleek UI/UX Design.

- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Hands-on experience with modern frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (React.js preferred).

- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.

- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and UI/UX principles.

- Experience working with version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab.

- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Gulp or VITE

- Understanding of API integrations using RESTful services.

- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Mocha is a plus.

Optional: - Exposure to ROS/ROS2, MQTT, Web socket.

- Cloud Management(GCP/AWS) along with docker deployments

- Experience with Low level system design(LLD) and High level system design(HLD)

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive, user

-friendly websites and web applications

- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement user interfaces

- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability

- Ensure code quality through testing and debugging

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

- Should be able to guide the team

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

- A creative and innovative mindset

- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
