FTC Line Quality

Job purpose

The Quality FTC is responsible for ensuring quality of all products on shift.  Ensuring checks to confirm product compliance to the requirements and testing products according to the control plan.

Principal accountabilities

• To perform activities according the established EHS system and to suggest improvements of the same.
• To promote, establish and maintain collaborative approach and communication with all employees within the plant.
• To actively participate in the process of inspection of re-work pallets.
• To actively participate in the process for effective and efficient inspection of parts (system segregated) on end of the lines.
• To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities within reasonable amount of his working time.

Scope

• The Quality FTC shall communicate with several levels of hierarchy in the organisation
• The Quality FTC shall fulfil, review intermediate and finish good batch for compliance.
• On shift position
• Manufacturing environment

Responsibility for ensuring quality product

• Can stop production to maintain quality

Special factors

• PPE required within production environment.

Person specification

Qualifications/ knowledge/ experience

(Technical/ professional knowledge and skills competency)

High School qualifications - Desirable

Knowledge of Microsoft office package - Desirable

Work experience in industrial environment - Desirable

Personal skills and key competencies

(including JM behavioural competencies)

• Self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to work on an independent basis - Essential
• Good communication skills with ability to train Quality staff - Essential
• Strong organizational and time management skills - Essential.
