Full Stack Developer | Java & Angular

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a versatile and experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality applications supporting various enterprise business needs. This role involves managing end-to-end development processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring applications meet performance, security, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to the organization's digital transformation, foster innovation, and support continuous delivery through Agile and DevOps practices.

Software Requirements

Required Software & Skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and frameworks such as React.js or Angular

• Strong expertise in back-end development using Java (.NET or other frameworks are not applicable here) or equivalent object-oriented programming languages

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration

• Knowledge of databases: relational (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

• Version control: Git, GITHub or equivalent

• Build tools: Maven, Gradle, or similar

• CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar

• Familiarity with containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Software & Skills:

• Cloud platforms support (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Microservices architecture

• Testing frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Jest or Enzyme

• Security protocols: OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance

• Develop responsive, scalable, and secure front-end applications with React.js or Angular

• Build robust back-end services using Java and Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices architecture

• Collaborate with product managers, UX teams, and other developers to deliver cohesive solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards

• Conduct code reviews, optimize application performance, and implement security enhancements

• Support DevOps practices by automating build, deployment, and testing workflows

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure high system availability and performance

• Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends and incorporate innovative practices into development processes

• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Essential: Java (or C#/.NET if specified), JavaScript (ES6+)

• Preferred: TypeScript, Python (for automation/support tasks)

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Essential: React.js or Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate

• Preferred: Redux, Webpack, Bootstrap, Material UI

Databases & Data Management:

• Relational: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle

• NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra (preferred)

Cloud & Containerization:

• Experience deploying in AWS, Azure, GCP

• Docker, Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration (preferred)

Development & Testing Tools:

• Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines

• Testing: JUnit, Selenium, Jest, Enzyme

Experience Requirements

• Total 7 years and relevant minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in full-stack application development

• Proven experience leading end-to-end software development projects

• Hands-on expertise in building and deploying applications in cloud environments

• Strong experience with REST API design, microservices, and database management

• Experience working in Agile teams and supporting DevOps processes

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications front-end and back-end components

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during requirement gathering, planning, and review sessions

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization activities

• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis

• Automate deployment pipelines and integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD workflows

• Keep documentation of system architecture, code standards, and deployment procedures

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing sessions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on enterprise applications

• Certifications in Java/Javascript frameworks or cloud platforms are advantageous
