Job Description

As is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions and reports within the IFS ERP system. This role involves collaborating with various business units to understand their data and reporting needs, and delivering customized solutions that support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both BI and report development, with extensive experience in the IFS ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

BI Solution Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions within the IFS ERP framework.
• Create and manage data models, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Report Development:

• Design and develop complex reports using IFS ERP reporting tools.
• Customize standard IFS reports to meet specific business requirements.
• Ensure reports are optimized for performance and accuracy.

Data Analysis and Management:

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the IFS ERP system.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reports and BI solutions

Testing and Validation:

• Conduct thorough testing of BI solutions and reports to ensure they meet business needs.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Support and Training:

• Provide end-user support for BI tools and reporting applications.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for users.
• Assist users with report-related issues and provide training as needed

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies.
• Identify and recommend improvements to current BI and reporting processes.
• Participate in ongoing projects and initiatives to enhance data-driven decision-making 

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all BI and report development processes.
• Document data sources, report logic, and user guides.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with IFS ERP report development and BI solutions.
• Strong experience with SQL and database management.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar, and report development tools such as Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Understanding of cloud-based BI solutions and services.

Preferred

Qualifications

• Certifications in IFS ERP, BI tools, or related reporting tools.
• Experience with other ERP systems and BI/report development tools.
• Knowledge of business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or other relevant areas.
