Gastroenterologist

Requirements

• MBBS degree followed by MD/DM in Gastroenterology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  
• Valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  
• Minimum of 2 years of post -residency clinical experience in gastroenterology with documented procedural competence.
  
• Proven expertise in advanced endoscopic procedures: Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUSl Band Ligation, PEG Tube insertion, Liver Biopsy, and Capsule Endoscopy.
  
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex GI conditions including GI bleeding, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, pancreatitis, and gallbladder disorders.
  
• Strong understanding of GI cancer screening protocols and early detection strategies.
  
• Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and decision -making skills with a patient -first approach.
  
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation standards.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  
• Commitment to lifelong learning, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical medical practice.
  
• Willingness to participate in on -call rotations and emergency GI interventions as required.
