About the Role:Provide support to business units throughout the entire project lifecycle: approval, cost allocation, asset capitalization, and write-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and monthly activities related to the Project Accounting process for BASF group companies and businesses in the Americas.


• Responsible for closing companies of medium complexity


• Ensure adequate data quality for the projects of their business units.


• Support the improvement of process design and flow by identifying opportunities for enhancement and automation through new technologies and systems, ensuring proper implementation.


• Support projects involving mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures of business lines or companies.


• Assist with key organizational tasks such as audits, internal controls, among others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduates of Public Accountant, Business Administration, Economics


• Min 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant domain.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced global environment


• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (completed or pursuing).

Technical Skills:

• SAP FICO/MM
