In this role, the individual will design, build, and operationalise scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform, working closely with architects and cross\u2011functional teams. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong experience in cloud data engineering, modern data modelling approaches, and a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\nPrepare Low Level Designs (LLDs) aligned with High Level Designs (HLDs) defined by project architects. \nBuild, deploy, and operationalise robust data processing systems based on approved designs. \nDevelop and optimise data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Airflow, and Looker. \nApply modern data pipeline patterns and creatively address product or platform limitations. \nAct as a subject matter expert in GCP Data Engineering, supporting and mentoring junior team members. \nApply learnings from new technologies and practices to day\u2011to\u2011day delivery. \nLead small teams or projects end\u2011to\u2011end, from build through to closure, when required. \nContribute to organisational efficiency through process adoption, resource optimisation, and tooling improvements. \nActively contribute technical expertise to internal guilds and communities of practice.\n\n## Who you are\n\nAn experienced data engineering professional with strong SQL expertise. \nProficient in the GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Looker, and related services. \nExperienced with DBT, including model development, Jinja templating, and lineage generation. \nKnowledgeable in Data Vault 2.0 concepts with hands\u2011on implementation experience on cloud data warehouses. \nBringing 6+ years of overall experience, with at least 2\u20134 years focused on GCP, DBT, and Data Vault 2.0. \nHold a relevant qualification such as B.E., B.Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc, or MSc in Computer Science or a related field. \nA Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer certification is advantageous. \nCollaborative, adaptable, and committed to quality, timely delivery, and policy adherence.\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
