By hiring, the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA and for the people who work here.\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n\u2022 Ideal candidate has been supporting traditional server based relational databases (SQL server, PostgreSQL, Redis DB and MongoDB) for over 2+ years out of which last 1+ years in public cloud environments (GCP). \n\n\u2022 Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MongoDB, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated expertise in managing PostgreSQL databases on AZURE, GCP and AWS RDS.\n\n\u2022 Experience with features such as automated backups, maintenance, and scaling - PostgreSQL\n\n\u2022 Ability to Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for performance improvement.\n\n\u2022 Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring tools for PostgreSQL on GCP.\n\n\u2022 Experience with configuring alerts based on performance metrics.\n\n\u2022 Experience in implementing and testing backup and recovery strategies for PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS/AZURE SQL/GCP Cloud SQL.\n\n\u2022 Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing disaster recovery plans for PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS/AZURE SQL/GCP Cloud SQL.\n\n\u2022 Good Understanding of database security principles and best practices.\n\n\u2022 Proven ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in PostgreSQL databases.\n\n\u2022 Experience in optimizing database configurations for better performance.\n\n\u2022 Able to provide 24*7 shift hours support at L1/L2 level\n\n\u2022 Experience in updating KB articles, Problem Management articles, and SOPs/runbooks\n\n\u2022 Passion for delivering timely and outstanding customer service\n\n\u2022 Great written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers\n\n\u2022 Strong ITIL foundation experience\n\n\u2022 Ability to work independently or no direct supervision.\n\n\u2022 Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.\n\n\u2022 Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.\n\nShare domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.\n\n\u2022 Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n\u2022 3+ years of overall operational experience\n\n\u2022 2+ years of GCP experience as a cloud DBA (PostgreSQL/Mongo DB)\n\n\u2022 3+ years of experience working in diverse cloud support database environments in a 24*7 production support model\n\n\u2022 Query fine tuning - MongoDB \n\n\u2022 Shell scripts for Monitoring like \u2018slow queries\u2019, replication lag, nodes fails, disk usage. etc\n\n\u2022 Backup and restores (Backups should be automated with shell scripts/Ops Manager)\n\n\u2022 Database Health check (Complete review of Database slow queries, fragmentation, index usage. etc)\n\n\u2022 Upgrades (Java version, Mongo version. etc)\n\n\u2022 Maintenance (Data Centre outages etc)\n\n\u2022 Architecture design as per the Application requirement\n\n\u2022 Writing best practices documents for shading, replication for Dev/App teams\n\n\u2022 Log rotation/ maintenance (mongos, MongoDB, config etc)\n\n\u2022 Segregation of duties (User Management \u2013 designing User roles and responsibilities)\n\n\u2022 Designing DR (Disaster Recovery)/COB (Continuity of Business) plans as applicable\n\n\u2022 Database Profiling, Locks, Memory Usage, No of connections, page fault etc.,\n\n\u2022 Export and Import of Data to and From MongoDB, Run time configuration of MongoDB,\n\n\u2022 Data Managements in MongoDB Capped Collections Expired data from TTL,\n\n\u2022 Monitoring of Various issues related with Database,\n\n\u2022 Monitoring at Server, Database, Collection Level, and Various Monitoring Tools related to MongoDB,\n\n\u2022 Database software Installation and Configuration in accordance with Client defined standards.\n\n\u2022 Database Migrations and Updates\n\n\u2022 Capacity management- MongoDB\n\n\u2022 Hands on experience in Server Performance tuning and Recommendations\n\n\u2022 High availability solutions and recommendations\n\n\u2022 Hands on experience in Root cause analysis for business impacting issues.\n\n\u2022 Experience with SQL, SQL Developer, TOAD, Pgadmin, MongoDB atlas\n\n\u2022 Experience with python / PowerShell scripting - preferred\n\n\u2022 Secondary skill in MySQL/oracle - preferred\n\n\u2022 Installation, configuration and upgrading of PostgreSQL server software and related products\n\nPreferred Certifications\n\nAzure fundamentals certification (AZ-900) -
