This role focuses on using GenAI to migrate applications to AWS, debug and optimize mainframe\u2011converted applications, and support end\u2011to\u2011end SDLC execution in cloud environments.\n\nThe position blends Java application development, cloud infrastructure, CloudOps and FinOps practices, and AI\u2011assisted engineering, supporting large\u2011scale, production\u2011grade systems.\n\n## What will your job look like?\n\n * Design and implement GenAI\u2011powered and Agentic solutions to support application modernization and SDLC automation.\n * Use Generative AI techniques to assist with application migration to AWS and to debug and stabilize mainframe\u2011converted applications.\n * Develop, enhance, and manage Java\u2011based applications, with exposure to C, C++, and .NET codebases.\n * Execute and support end\u2011to\u2011end SDLC on AWS, including development, deployment, testing, and operational readiness.\n * Support AWS CloudOps activities such as environment management, monitoring, reliability improvements, and incident resolution.\n * Contribute to FinOps practices, including cost optimization, usage analysis, and governance in AWS environments.\n * Work with cloud infrastructure components to ensure scalability, performance, security, and compliance.\n * Collaborate with cross\u2011functional engineering, platform, and operations teams to deliver high\u2011quality solutions.\n\n\n\n## All you need is...\n\n * 1\u20136 years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, or cloud engineering.\n * Hands\u2011on experience with Java application development and management.\n * Exposure to AWS cloud services in development, migration, or operational contexts.\n * Practical understanding of Generative AI concepts or tools applied to software development, debugging, or modernization.\n * Familiarity with CloudOps concepts (monitoring, reliability, incident management).\n * Working knowledge of FinOps principles for cloud cost awareness and optimization.\n * Understanding of SDLC processes in cloud\u2011based environments.\n * Exposure to C, C++, and/or .NET applications.\n\n\n\n* * *\n\n## Nice to Have\n\n * Experience working with or modernizing mainframe\u2011converted applications.\n * Exposure to AI\u2011assisted migration, code analysis, or debugging tools.\n * Experience with AWS infrastructure, automation, or DevOps tooling.\n * Background in large\u2011scale enterprise or telecom systems.\n\n\n\n## Why you will love this job:\n\n\u2022 You will be challenged to design and develop new software applications. \n\u2022 You will have the opportunity to work in a growing organization, with ever growing opportunities for personal growth. \n \n\nAmdocs is an equal opportunity employer.
