Job Title: General Ledger Accounting Manager


Position Overview:
The General Ledger Manager will lead and oversee the company's general ledger accounting operations.This role is responsible for managing monthly close activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, overseeing account reconciliations, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep technical accounting expertise, ERP experience, and a collaborative mindset.


Key Responsibilities:
 Lead the general ledger accounting function, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
 Supervise a team of accountants responsible for journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across multiple business units and entities.
 Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
 Oversee the preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve
outstanding issues.
 Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other departments to support accurate and complete financial reporting.
 Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and SOX requirements.
 Drive continuous process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
 Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits.
 Assist with special projects, system implementations, and other ad hoc analysis as needed.

Qualification & Experience Required:
 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Accounting certification (US GAAP) is desirable.
 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in American multinational companies, including
at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
 Experience with large-scale month-end close, financial reporting and balance sheet
reconciliation processes.
 Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control requirements.
 Proficiency with NetSuite or ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP.
 Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
 Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
