General Manager – Cement Division

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Cement Division to lead our cement distribution business by driving sales growth, expanding dealer and distributor networks, optimizing business operations, and ensuring sustainable profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, in-depth industry knowledge, and a proven track record in channel sales, business development, and operational excellence within the cement industry. This role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and the ability to drive business performance across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and business growth plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  


• Expand, manage, and strengthen dealer and distributor networks across the region.
  


• Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  


• Oversee inventory management, logistics, supply chain operations, and timely product delivery.
  


• Monitor budgets, profitability, collections, and overall business performance.
  


• Lead, mentor, and manage sales, operations, and support teams to maximize productivity.
  


• Identify new market opportunities by tracking industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  


• Develop strong relationships with key dealers, distributors, contractors, and business partners.
  


• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  


• Prepare business performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  


• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
  


• MBA is preferred.
  


• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the cement distribution industry.
  


• Proven experience in dealer/distributor management, channel sales, business development, and team leadership.
  


• Strong knowledge of cement distribution, pricing strategies, logistics, inventory management, and channel sales.
  


• Established network and strong industry relationships within the cement sector.
  


• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  


• Strong analytical, financial, and business planning capabilities.
  


• Ability to drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  


• Willingness to travel as required for business operations and client engagement.
