General Manager Finance

1. Financial planning and business profitability

Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, monthly MIS reports and project/client-wise profitability reports. Help management decide which projects and clients are financially beneficial.

2. Accounting and revenue recognition

Handle monthly financial closing, Ind AS financial statements and Ind AS 115 revenue recognition. Understand fixed-price projects, time-and-materials billing, subscriptions, work-in-progress (WIP) and unbilled revenue.

3. International finance and taxation

Manage financial operations involving India, the USA and the UAE, including foreign remittances, FEMA/RBI compliance, transfer pricing, withholding tax, DTAA and overseas receivables.

4. Cash flow, treasury and banking

Manage liquidity, collections, working capital, bank loans, overdrafts, bank guarantees, letters of credit and foreign currency exposure. This is a major part of the role.

5. Compliance, audits and governance

Oversee GST, TDS, income tax, statutory audits, Companies Act compliance and internal financial controls. Experience maintaining clean audits is important.

6. Finance team and systems leadership

Lead and develop the finance team, improve reporting processes and manage finance ERP systems. Oracle Fusion is preferred, but SAP, Zoho or Tally can be acceptable.
