General Manager- Investor Relations

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the company’s investor relations agenda. The position requires driving transparent communication with investors and analysts, presenting performance updates, and showcasing the company’s long-term growth story. A strong grasp of financial analysis, stakeholder engagement, and capital market dynamics will be essential to building trust and enhancing shareholder value.

Primary Responsibilities

• Investor Communication: Act as the primary link between the company and the investment community, ensuring clear and timely updates on financial health, strategy, and outlook.
  

• Financial Analysis & Projections: Review, validate, and present business forecasts in an accurate and transparent manner.
  

• Market Engagement: Represent the company at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events to strengthen visibility.
  

• Stakeholder Networking: Build strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and market intermediaries to improve market reputation.
  

• Annual Report & Disclosures: Lead preparation of corporate reports and ensure compliance with all mandatory disclosure requirements.
  

• Market Intelligence: Track sector trends, competitor activities, and investor sentiment to guide senior leadership.
  

• Governance: Ensure all IR activities align with regulatory standards and best governance practices.
  

• Advisory to Management: Share insights on market perception and recommend strategies to address investor expectations.
  

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in a listed industrial or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, credibility with capital markets, proven communication skills, and a track record of engaging effectively with institutional investors. A management degree in finance (MBA/CFA or CA) is preferred.
