General Manager - Sales (India)

Job Description:

Responsible for the sale of products or services for current customers and identification of potential customers. Promotes and keeps relationship with current and potential customers; keeps the customers informed about new products or services, prices, innovations, etc.; keeps the records and reports of all the activities of sales; identifies potential customers. Contributes to the development of the sales strategy and is responsible for implementation of all sales plans to support overall sales and business strategy of the company. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and have a company-wide effect. Typically manages one or more departments of Professional track employees and may have subordinate Supervisors.
