Job Description - General Manager - Sales Lead

This individual will shape compelling commercial propositions, lead matrixed sales cycles end\u2011to\u2011end, and strengthen VOIS\u2019s position by aligning solutions to customer objectives while ensuring profitable growth. The role requires a customer\u2011centric approach, strong commercial insight and the ability to influence diverse senior stakeholders.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n\u2022 Provide thought leadership, innovative deal structuring and sales expertise to enable growth while responsibly managing risk. \n\u2022 Lead the customer journey from pre\u2011qualification and deal shaping through negotiation, contracting and seamless transition into in\u2011life management. \n\u2022 Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design compelling win strategies and ensure alignment across all functions. \n\u2022 Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across VOIS and Vodafone entities to support large, complex bids. \n\u2022 Support customer teams to originate new business and ensure a robust, strategically aligned pipeline. \n\u2022 Contribute to the enhancement of VOIS sales processes, operating models and governance frameworks to accelerate growth.\n\n## Who you are\n\n\u2022 Experienced in leading customer engagements with a strong understanding of sales processes and best\u2011practice methodologies. \n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to deliver results within matrix structures and lead virtual, onshore/offshore teams. \n\u2022 Skilled in making balanced decisions while managing diverse priorities and personalities. \n\u2022 Experienced in high\u2011stakes negotiation, including with C\u2011level stakeholders. \n\u2022 Adept at identifying and mitigating risks throughout the bid lifecycle. \n\u2022 Brings over 15 years of experience in global organisations and in Commercial, Sales or Operations leadership. \n\u2022 Data\u2011driven with strong analytical capability and insight orientation. \n\u2022 Knowledgeable about competitive market dynamics and credible when advising senior executive stakeholders. \n\u2022 Experienced in navigating organisational complexity, ideally within Vodafone or similar global structures.\n\n## Not a perfect fit?\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
