The General Manager – India will lead and scale the India operations for a high-growth Salesforce consulting and implementation business. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring delivery excellence, building high-performing teams, and strengthening the company’s presence as a trusted Salesforce partner in the region and globally.
This leader will operate at the intersection of sales, delivery, and operations, ensuring alignment between client acquisition, project execution, and long-term customer success. This role will report to the EVP of Professional Services.
1. Business & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business development in partnership with global sales teams
- Expand existing client accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Build strategic relationships with enterprise clients and key stakeholders
2. Salesforce Practice Leadership
- Lead and scale Salesforce consulting capabilities across clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, etc.)
- Ensure high-quality solutioning aligned with Salesforce best practices and certifications
- Partner with global leadership to define GTM strategies and offerings
3. Delivery Excellence & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementation projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Establish delivery governance, quality assurance, and risk management frameworks
- Drive utilization, forecasting, and operational efficiency
4. Talent & Organizational Leadership
- Build, lead, and retain a high-performing team of consultants, quality assurance consultants, developers, and solution architects, etc.
- Develop hiring strategies to scale capabilities in India
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
5. Client Success & Stakeholder Management (60% Billable Util Goal)
- Act as a Senior Consultant delivering billable work for key client engagements
- Ensure high customer satisfaction (CSAT) and long-term partnership growth
- Resolve escalations and manage complex stakeholder environments
-10+ years of experience in consulting, with strong exposure to Salesforce ecosystem
- Deep expertise in Salesforce implementation methodologies and delivery models
- Experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
