Job Description: Gen AI Engineer

Location- Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore

Experience-4-12 Years.

Mandatory Skills: - Python , Flask, Fast API, MI, Deep Learning, NLP, transformers, Gen AI, Azure with open AI, Azure services, SQL/NO SQL (AI ML Engineer exposure to Gen AI)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend infrastructure for a generative AI platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions using Python and Terraform to streamline and automate processes within the AI program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver high-quality code in an Agile environment.
• Utilize DevOps best practices to continuously integrate, test, and deploy code updates, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency, using approved strategic tooling (Jira, Clarity, Rally) to manage and prioritize backlog, requirements, and reporting.
• Leverage Azure platform experience to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure, optimizing for cost, performance, and security, using products such as Azure DevOps, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in AI, analytics, and backend system engineering to ensure competitiveness and innovation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on the AI program.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the backend systems, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and operational guides.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of regulatory compliance by ensuring all backend systems adhere to relevant data protection and privacy regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with popular Python web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning.
• Experience/knowledge in using Generative AI /OpenAI LLMs i.e. GPT, NLP, Transformers.
• Exposure to OpenAI services in Azure will be preferred.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, such as Microsoft Azure.
• Proficient using version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL Server.
• Familiarity with JavaScript would be beneficial.
• Ability to write unit tests and conduct Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive documentation for code and APIs.
