GIS Analyst (Geographic Information Systems Analyst) is a professional who collects, manages, analyzes, and visualizes geographic and spatial data to support decision-making across industries such as utilities, telecommunications, urban planning, transportation, oil & gas, environmental consulting, and government.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain digital maps and spatial databases.


• Analyze geographic and location-based data.


• Perform spatial analysis using GIS tools.


• Convert CAD drawings, GPS data, satellite imagery, and survey data into GIS formats.


• Generate maps, dashboards, and reports.


• Ensure data accuracy and maintain GIS databases.


• Support planning, engineering, and infrastructure projects.
