We are seeking a skilled GIS Consultant to prepare clean, structured geospatial datasets and optimize them for seamless use across desktop and web mapping platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in QGIS/ArcGIS, spatial data management, and map styling techniques to produce visually meaningful and technically sound outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver well-organized and high-quality geospatial data layers suitable for QGIS / ArcGIS, ensuring compatibility for export to web mapping tools such as Leaflet and Mapbox.
• Apply effective symbology and cartographic styling to highlight variations in vegetation health, soil types, and other relevant attributes while maintaining clarity and usability.
• Develop simplified, structured attribute tables to support smooth integration with external datasets including sensor and machinery data.
• Conduct a short handover session (via screen share) to demonstrate project organization, workflows, and methods to independently update or maintain layers.

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on experience with GIS tools such as QGIS and ArcGIS
• Expertise in GIS modeling and managing geospatial workflows
• Ability to build and integrate GIS applications and prepare datasets for Leaflet and Mapbox
• Strong understanding of spatial data structuring, layer styling, and map usability best practices
