GIS Fullstack Developer

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Python and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Next.js.
  
• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Node.js.
  
• Develop interactive geospatial web applications using mapping libraries like Leaflet, OpenLayers, or Mapbox.
  
• Work with spatial and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS or MySQL.
  
• Integrate third -party APIs and external data sources into applications.
  
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to implement new product features.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues during development, testing, and deployment.
  
• Ensure code quality through best practices, version control, and documentation.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience working with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS.
  
• Strong hands -on experience with Python and React.js.
  
• Experience building map -based or geospatial web applications.
  
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
  
• Experience working with SQL databases.
  
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience with PostGIS or other spatial databases.
  
• Familiarity with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON and Shapefiles.
  
• Exposure to AWS, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
