The position

As a Senior Pricing Lead, you will drive pricing strategy, pricing guidance, and forecast development for assigned therapy areas on a global scale. You will provide strategic pricing insights that influence drug development, business development opportunities, launch strategies, launch sequencing, and investment decisions.

Day-to-day, your tasks will include:

• Driving the development and execution of global pricing strategies, guidance, and forecasts.


• Partnering with internal stakeholders across Market Access, Commercial, Finance, Portfolio Strategy, and regional pricing teams to align pricing objectives with business priorities.


• Monitoring global pricing environments, including international reference pricing, parallel trade dynamics, competitor activities, and loss of exclusivity impacts.


• Leading pricing business cases and providing recommendations to support strategic decision-making.


• Developing and delivering actionable pricing insights through reports, dashboards, analytics, and presentations.


• Supporting launch strategies and portfolio planning through robust pricing assessments and recommendations.


• Develop AI strategy to drive AI adoption within the Pricing & Portfolio and Market Access teams by identifying opportunities, developing implementation plans, and delivering measurable business impact in data-intensive and recurring processes.


• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

This role offers significant global exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions across the product lifecycle.

The department

The Pricing & Portfolio team within Product & Portfolio Strategy (P&PS), Global Business Services (GBS), plays a critical role in shaping global pricing strategies and driving informed decision-making across Novo Nordisk's portfolio. The team partners closely with Market Access, Commercial, Finance, Business Development, and regional stakeholders to maximize patient access while supporting sustainable business growth. The function is also at the forefront of leveraging data, analytics, and AI to enhance pricing excellence and strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

We are looking for a strategic pricing professional who thrives on transforming complex market dynamics into clear, actionable pricing recommendations that drive patient access and business value. You will bring with you:

• A master’s degree (M.Sc./M. Pharm.) or MBA in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience within pharmaceutical pricing, market access, business analytics, finance, or consulting.


• Demonstrated hands-on experience in implementing AI solutions and driving innovation initiatives.


• Strong expertise in advanced analytics and big-data triangulation, including the ability to integrate diverse data sources and translate insights into actionable recommendations.


• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.


• Strategic and operational thinking abilities combined with a strong problem-solving mindset.


• Business acumen with the ability to influence decisions and deliver impactful recommendations.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a global matrix

organization.
