You will become part of COWI’s global People & Organisation function, which consists of more than 100 HR professionals across the globe. Together, we support COWI’s culture, build our employer brand, optimize our processes, and attract, develop and retain our most important asset – our people.

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will join our international team of more than 30 recruitment professionals across Sweden, Denmark, UK, India, Canada and Norway. Reporting to the Global TA and Onboarding Manager, you will work closely with colleagues and business stakeholders across countries and functions.

In this role, you will play an important part in improving how we identify, attract and engage candidates in specialist and niche markets. You will support the business with targeted sourcing strategies, market analysis, talent mapping and pipeline building, while also contributing to selected end-to-end recruitment processes. Your ability to combine sourcing expertise, market insight and stakeholder collaboration will be key to helping us attract the right talent for COWI’s current and future needs.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for specialist, business-critical and hard-to-fill roles across selected markets.
• Identify, engage and attract passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, professional networks and other relevant channels.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, with a particular focus on niche skill areas and competitive talent markets.
• Conduct talent mapping and market analysis to provide insights into talent availability, competitor activity, candidate expectations, location opportunities and attraction challenges.
• Support hiring managers and TA colleagues with market intelligence that enables more informed recruitment decisions and sourcing strategies.
• Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into targeted sourcing and recruitment plans.
• Support selected end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a strong candidate experience from first engagement through to selection and offer.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Talent Acquisition team, sharing sourcing insights, market knowledge, best practices and lessons learned across countries.
• Ensure all sourcing and recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with applicable labour law, legislation, GDPR and COWI’s Global TA Code of Conduct.

On top of that, you also bring:

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of recruitment experience within an international organisation with exposure to proactive sourcing.
• Demonstrated experience in sourcing, talent pipelining and engaging passive candidates within specialist, technical or niche talent markets.
• Demonstrated proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter and a range of sourcing techniques, such as search optimization, talent mapping, and market analysis.
• The ability to analyse talent markets and translate insights into practical recommendations for hiring managers and TA colleagues.
• Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment processes and creating a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
• Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate business needs into effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
• A good understanding of compliant recruitment practices, including GDPR and ethical candidate engagement.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• An initiative-taking mindset, clear ownership and a genuine interest in improving sourcing, attraction, recruitment processes and candidate experiences.
