Job Description - GM Sales and Business Development

Responsibilities:

To oversee the sales team and overall management of
the business’s sales operations.

To maximize the sales team potential, to generate
leads, build client relationships, set targets to achieve or exceed revenue
forecasts.

To meet customer acquisition and revenue growth
targets by developing & executing strategies.

To review and analyze sales and operational records
and reports; use data to forecast, determine profitability and targets, and
identify potential new markets.

To collaborate with executive leadership to develop
sales plans and implement effective strategies.

To coordinate account resources, projects, and
timelines with internal stakeholders.

To manage existing customer relationships and contact
new customers to discuss their needs, and how they could be met by specific
products and services.

To establish long -term customer relationships with
strategically important accounts to influence opportunities to achieve the
sales objectives/targets.

To seek opportunities for increased revenue via
up -selling and cross -selling through additional product lines, features, and
services.

To execute contracts with new customers and manage
contract renewals with existing customers through effective negotiation of
terms, conditions, pricing, and commitments that enhance profitability and
business relationship with customers.

To keep the account receivables under check with less
than 15% Past due & DSO less than 45 days. Assisting finance in obtaining
full and timely payment from customers where necessary.



Requirements

Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
organizational skills.

Ability to influence at varying levels across the
organization.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in
a highly matrixed environment.

Strong understanding of the territory and market
landscape.

Strong decision -making abilities, problem solving
skills and negotiation skills.

Project management and strategic account planning
skills.

Ability to motivate and lead a highly driven, results
oriented team.

Possess a high level of energy and integrity.
