Role Overview:
We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to drive Government advertising business for Paytm Ads. This is a pure hunting role, focused on acquiring new business across State Governments, DIPRs, Ministries, PSUs, and State Departments. The role requires strong on-ground presence and frequent travel to build relationships and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business acquisition across State DIPRs, Tourism Boards, Ministries, and PSUs
Identify and unlock opportunities for 1P branding and Soundbox advertising solutions
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government departments
Travel extensively across states for client meetings, pitch presentations, and closures
Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → pitching → negotiation → closure → collections support
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Operations, Finance) for smooth campaign execution
Ensure timely billing, documentation, and compliance as per government processes
Key Requirements:
8–15 years of experience in government sales / ad sales / media sales
Strong network within State Governments, DIPRs, PSUs, or Ministries preferred
Proven track record in hunting and closing high-value deals
Comfortable with frequent travel and on-ground execution
Understanding of DAVP/CBC empanelment and government buying processes is a plus
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
