As a member of our Graphics PSE team, you will be working closely with architects, designers, verification, and software engineers to take the GPU from pre-Sil stage to tape out to silicon bring-up and to CS(Customer Samples).\n\nJob Functions/General Responsibilities:\n\n\u2022 In this position, you will be responsible for developing graphics applications using graphics API like DirectX, OpenGL ES , Vulkan, improving coverage, creating GPU bring-up test-plans and test methodologies.\n\n\u2022 Analyzing and enabling new games and benchmark in pre-Si environment.\n\n\u2022Provide debug support in pre-Silicon environment (functional model) and driving end to end solutions for silicon bring-up issues including failure debug.\n\n\u2022We are looking for highly motivated engineers that enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.\n\n\u2022 Candidates must have strong programming, communication and teamwork skills and approach difficult challenges as learning opportunities.\n\nCritical \u201cMust Have\u201d skills/experience for role\n\n\u2022 Strong programming in C/C++.\n\n\u2022 GPU APIs knowledge (Vulkan/Direct3D/OpenGL/Direct X / OpenCL etc.)\n\n\u2022 GPU architecture.\n\n\u2022 Strong analytical skill.\n\n\u2022 3+ years of relevant experience.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n\nAdditional Job Description\n\nPreferred skills/experience for role:\n\n\u2022 Experience in AI\n\n\u2022 Experience with at least one of: Perl, Python, TCL\n\n\u2022 Games/graphics application development.\n\n\u2022 OpenCL/CUDA knowledge.\n\n\u2022 Graphics driver development or modelling experience. \n\n\u2022 Post-silicon enablement and bring-up.\n\n\u2022 Prior experience in working in emulation environments for development and debug.\n\n\u2022 Debug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggers\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
