Position Overview:The Group Manager -Technical Service plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the Building Operation .1. Managing a team of Skilled and Experience Engineers by mentoring and motivating to achieve desired results.2. Tracking and Ensuring 100% PPM is done for all engineering Installed Equipments and problems encountered during PPM is recorded.a. Ensuring all the installed equipments are maintained as per the PPM plan and schedule.b. If repairs and spares are required, ensure timely repair of equipments. c. Any problem or repeated failure should be rectified within 15 days or earlier. 3. Critical Equipment infrastructure operation, uptime and due diligence.a. Equipments like UPS, Diesel Generators and building HVAC system including critical areas like Server room, HUB rooms, electrical sub-station equipments, BMS system and Safety system should be 100% up and operational to maintain the business continuity. b. Monitoring, designing and establishing of process for effective engineering operations.4. Upkeep of building plumbing, Interior and infrastructure.a. All the building plumbing system should be operational and maintained at all the times. Building infrastructure and interior should be maintain at all the times.5. Mini projects planning and execution.a. Modifications / changes required to achieve the operational efficiency, cost involved and timelines should be documented.b. Planning of the project and detailed discussion with stakeholder to be documented.c. Execution of the same should be done after the appropriate approvals.d. Final closure report to be submitted.6. Service Provider and Land lord Co-ordinationa. Regular meetings/ communications with service providers & Land lord and Circulating MOM. Regular Follow-up on pending deliverables of service providers.7. Cost Saving Initiatives in terms of energy/water bills a. To explore areas for reduction in operational costs. Areas like Electricity usage due to effective operation and manpower utilization can save the monthly energy billing charges.8. Vendor Billing & payments and NDCsa. To ensure service provider / vendor bills are submitted on time and payments are processed.9. Preparing engineering budget and Monitoring of Budget versus Spend on monthly basis.a. AMCs and Rate Contractb. Mini Projects / renovationc. CAPEX d. OPEX10. All Infrastructure / regulatory compliance should be maintained. 11. Preparing site for Audits like Infrastructure Risk, Infosec, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, facing audits for successful completion.12. Ensuring all Maintenance checklist, process and infrastructure critical / Non-critical areas adhere to / as per quality/risk standards.13. Trainings for the personal development arranged by the BPET and Learning Academy should be done on timely basis.14. Training needs for service provider personnel to be identified and Monthly Training program to be initiated/reviewed on the basis of the need.15. Initiatives for conserving / sustaining energy through quality tools and automation.
