Group Tax Manager

This is a newly created remote role which will be reporting into the Global Tax Manager based in the United Kingdom. The tax function itself was only brought in-house in 2025 so you will be a key driver in building and managing the parameters and processes of the department.

Managing tax compliance deadlines will be a key part of this role as well as a significant amount of international tax work given the size of the global group.

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration etc.

·        Chartered Accountant – specialization in International Taxation preferred

8-10 years experience

Ideal candidate

·        The ideal candidate needs to have fantastic communication skills as we work with all areas of the group, specifically Finance and Legal. As this will be a very small team and there is always a huge amount of deliverables to balance given there are over 30 entities in the group spanning multiple continents, being able to manage own deadlines proactively is essential.

·        A solid background in accounting is fundamental and whilst tax experience is desired, it is not critical for candidates who can demonstrate great analytical skills, a high attention to detail and an eagerness to learn the niche of tax.

·        This role will be remote but being local enough to visit the Mumbai office once a week would be ideal as there will be a significant amount of work overlap with the Finance team based here who already attend the office one day a week.
