Job Description - Growth Leader

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1700000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 17-20 LPA)

Min Experience: 5 years

Location: Bangalore

JobType: full-time

This position is designed to develop and manage the company’s growth engine.

The Growth Leader plays a crucial role in facilitating measurable user and revenue expansion by overseeing dedicated acquisition and distribution channels, each handled by specialized teams.

These teams report directly to the Growth Leader, who is responsible for execution. Meanwhile, the Growth Leader focuses on strategy, optimization, prioritization, and achieving results.

This role goes beyond traditional marketing.
The individual in this position will define the growth process, determine which channels should be scaled, and ensure that every team continuously improves its performance.

Responsibilities

1. Own the Growth Strategy

Establish the company's growth framework.

  • Develop the comprehensive growth model across all channels
  • Determine acquisition priorities and allocate channels effectively
  • Consistently redistribute resources to focus on the most successful channels
  • Align product development, marketing efforts, and distribution strategies with growth goals

2. Run the Growth Engine

Ensure each growth channel delivers results.

  • Define specific KPIs for each channel
  • Track performance and eliminate bottlenecks
  • Optimize conversion pathways across various acquisition channels
  • Conduct experiments to discover scalable growth strategies

3. Lead Channel Operators

Integrate five separate teams into a unified growth system.

  • Oversee team members managing each growth channel
  • Establish weekly and monthly performance targets
  • Create robust reporting processes and feedback mechanisms
  • Facilitate ongoing performance enhancement

4. Build the Growth Organisation

Exceptional growth leaders focus on building teams rather than just executing campaigns.

  • Recruit skilled operators for various acquisition channels
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities
  • Implement dashboards and structured operational practices
  • Cultivate a culture of agility, experimentation, and results
